Now my mother and sisters refuse to talk to me (without a third party intermediary of the religious persuasion). This battle is not new. Trying to let go, trying to hold on. Hubs and I made our final house payment last night. It may be modest but it's OURS. We did it! We clicked "send" on the computer, then drank champagne. This is definitely one of the highlights of my life, albeit quite personal. So few people thought we'd make it this far. Fuck that noise!
